TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1983 SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE EQUIPPED WITH A SHORAI LITHIUM ION BATTERY (NA), MODEL NUMBER: LFX14L2-BS12. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE BATTERY CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SMOTHER AND EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. A FIRE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
