UNDER THE VEHICLE WHERE THEY JOINED THE TWO TOGETHER THEY ONLY USED FLEX HOSE,AND IT BURNED OUT AND CAUGHT FIRE, AFTER ONLY 30,000 MILES. THE PIECE IN QUESTION ALSO HOUSES A O2 SENSOR WITCH HAS SCREWED UP EMMISSIONS AND COMPUTER. THE PIECE IS ALSO MORE THAN 400.00 DOLLARS.

I FIRST REPORTED THIS PROBLEM LAST YEAR. SOMETHING WAS CAUSING INTERMITTENT SEVERE VIBRATION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. I WAS TRAVELING DOWN THE HIGHWAY GOING 60MPH AT APPROX. 12:30AM WHEN THIS OCCURED AGAIN AND I ATTEMPTED TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY WHEN MY FOOT WAS DISLODGED FROM THE BRAKE BY VIBRATION. THE FORCE BEING APPLIED TO THE BRAKE WAS TRANSFERED TO THE ACCELERATOR WHICH RESULTED IN A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. I SLAMMED INTO A SOLID ROCK LEDGE AND RECEIVED INJURIES TO MY BAC
DRIVING SOUTHBOUND THROUGH INTERSECTION & ANOTHER VEHICLE MADE LEFT TURN IN FRONT. APPLIED BRAKES SUDDENLY BUT HIT DRIVER'S SIDE. UPON IMPACT, NEITHER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. PASSENGER WENT THROUGH WINDSHIELD & SUSTAINED INJURIES. ALSO, DRIVER SUFFERED INJURIES. HAD EMERGENCY ROOM TREATMENT. *AK
