THE MUFFLER DEVELOPED A STRSS CRACK AROUND THE INLET WELD. SATURN FINALLY AGREED TO PAY FOR HALF OF THE REPLACEMENT COST. *SCC
WHEELS MUST BE REBALANCED AT 4 MONTH INTERVALS. MECHANIC STATED IT WAS THE FIRESTONE TIRES THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM. TRANSAXLE - MANUFACTURERS DEFECT AS REPORTED BY THE SATURN MECHANIC. THE TRANSAXLE WAS SCORED CAUSING METAL CONTAMINATION THROUGHOUT.

THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE PROXIMITY OF THE GAS PEDAL TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. MY FOOT CONTINUALLY GETS CAUGHT BETWEEN THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GAS PEDAL TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CENTER CONSOLE. THERE IS ONLY A HALF INCH IN THAT AREA WHERE MOST CARS HAVE WELL OVER TWO INCHES. SATURN FORGOT TO CARVE OUT ADDITIONAL ROOM IN THE CENTER CONSOLE FOR THE TOP OF THE FOOT. I HAVE CONTACTED SATURN TWICE AND THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED.*AK
