MY DAUGHTER LOST CONTROL OF HER 2001 SATURN (3-DOOR COUPE) IN THE RAIN ON SATURDAY WHILE TRYING TO STOP AT AN INTERSECTION. SHE SLID THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AND HEAD-ON INTO A UTILITY POLE, WHILE ALSO TAKING DOWN TWO TELEPHONE BOXES. SHE AND HER TWO PASSENGERS WERE HURT. HER DRIVER AIRBAG AND PASSENGER AIRBAG DIDN'T DEPLOY EVEN THOUGH THE DAMAGE PULLED IN BOTH SIDES OF THE FRONT OF HER CAR, AND THE UTILITY POLE WENT 14 INCHES INTO THE FRONT END OF HER CAR. HER PASSENGER IN THE FRONT HIT THE WINDSHIELD (SHE WASN'T WEARING A SEAT BELT UNFORTUNATELY), AND HAD QUITE A BIT OF DAMAGE TO HER FOREHEAD, NOSE AND SCALP. THE PHYSICIAN IN THE ER, THE EMITS AND THE POLICE OFFICERS AT THE SCENE ALL STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED, AND HAD THEY DEPLOYED, THE INJURIES THAT WERE SUSTAINED PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN. I HAVE CONTACTED SATURN TO OPEN A COMPLAINT AND I JUST HOPE THEY FOLLOW THROUGH WITH AN INVESTIGATION. I THOUGHT BY PUTTING MY DAUGHTER IN A RELIABLE CAR SUCH AS SATURN P
