Within that volume, owners reported 0 crashes, 0 fires, 0 injuries, and 0 fatalities. No NCAP 5-star crash-test rating is available for this model year in the federal database.

Component-level analysis is where model-year complaints become actionable: the top complaint category for the 1995 9000 is power train:clutch assembly:pedal/hand lever(motorcycle) with 2 filings, followed by vehicle speed control (1) and fuel system, gasoline:fuel injection system (1). Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability.

NHTSA currently has 9 investigation files overlapping the 1995 9000. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. MY LAST TWO AUTOMOBILES HAVE BEEN SAAB TURBO'S. MY 1993 SABB TURBO 9000 AND MY PRESENT 1995 TURBO 9000 BOTH DEVELOPED TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. MY FIRST ONE AT APPROX. 49,000 MILES AND PRESENT ONE AT 59,000 (APPX.) MILES. A PARTNER OF MINES ALSO HAD A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM WITH HIS SABB TURBO IN THE 60,000 MILE RANGE. SEVERAL MECHANICS HAVE TOLD ME THAT SABB HAD AND HAS PROBLEMS WITH THERE TURBO TRANSMISSIONS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS AND IF THERE HAVE BEEN ANY RECALL PROBLEMS ON THESE CARS.
