The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the messages "Service Parking Brake - Vehicle Unable to Drive" and "Secure Vehicle to Keep from Rolling" were displayed. The vehicle was towed to a service center, where an unknown repair was performed; however, the failure recurred two weeks later. The contact stated that upon verifying the vehicle service history on the Mobile App, the history only listed the infotainment system service. Additionally, a Rivian technician had serviced the vehicle at the residence; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was in the process of towing the vehicle back to the Service Ccenter. The failure mileage was approximately 4,500.
