Total loss of power steering.

The electronic assist power steering stopped working in a turn which kept me from making the turn, which made me cross into oncoming traffic and run off the road. I almost hit head on to another vehicle. The other swerved to avoid me and landed in the ditch on the other side. After getting pulled out the power steering started working again and within a few miles of driving it went out again. The truck is now parked being to dangerous to drive.

I was driving at approximately 45 mph when suddenly my steering wheel locked causing me to run off the road. The "service power steering light" illuminated. It was taken to the dealership where I found out this is a COMMON problem that apparently hasn't killed enough people for Ram to recall it yet. There will be deaths associated with this. I bought it in 2018 & 1 month later no radio, gps, backup any of the stereo system worked. The only thing that worked was volume. I took it in & they charged me $125 diagnosis & was gonna be over $600 for new system. I never got it fixed. In 2022 with only 122000 miles it had to go in the shop for an engine overhaul because of the problem with missing on 5th cylinder. I have never owned a Dodge Ram before & never will again. I have had nothing but problems with it. I made phone calls & wrote e

I was driving and slowing down to 45 mph going through Corrigan, TX on 59. The truck all the sudden accelerated pulling to the left, then all of a sudden slammed to the right and went over a curb. I had no steering control and my foot was all the way down on the brakes to try and stop. I'm lucky it didn't happen 20 min before when 75mph was speed limit. The a frame broke, Ball joints, broke rack and pinion, cracked the weld that holds the a frame to the truck, and I'm not sure what else is broke
