This is a known Safety Recall, Porsche Recall ARB7 / NHTSA ID 24V-732. I received the "URGENT SAFETY RECALL" Notice in November regarding possible battery cell module defects that could result in a battery fire. I contacted Porsche today and was told that there still is no remedy and that we will be contacted once there is one. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 MPH in stop-and-go traffic a second vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle causing the vehicle to crash into the rear of a third vehicle. The rear camera of the Taycan (all models) when viewing makes it feel like I am in a funhouse as all the images are distorted. The camera is actually unusable. I can see this potentially causing accidents for those that are using it. Can’t even tell from the pole or car next me how close or far it is from me. My 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willys camera is far superior as was the rear camera on my 2014 BMW Gran Turismo. Can you please ask for an update as it should be required.
