The contact owns a 2015 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle shut off with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The âHybrid System Failure - Park Safelyâ message was displayed. The contact maneuvered the vehicle off to the shoulder of the highway. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the diagnostic test showed that the high voltage battery had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure; and the manufacturer provided the contact a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000.
