TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 PONTIAC GRAND PURSUIT. THE CONTACT WAS AT A STOP WHEN SHE NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE. THE HOOD WAS OPENED AND FLAMES BEGAN POURING FROM THE ENGINE AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT A SPECIALIST WOULD CONTACT HER AT A LATER DATE.THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 227,000.
