WHEN IN FORWARD GEAR AT IDLE THE ENGINE ACCELERATED UP TO 5000 RPM. I TRIED TO APPLY THE BRAKES BUT COULD NOT STOP THE AUTO FROM CRASHING INTO THE REAR OF MY GARAGE CAUSING DAMAGE TO SEVERAL ITEMS IN THE GARAGE. THE VEHICLE'S GAS PEDAL STUCK AND WHEN TAPPED TO FREE IT, SURGED FORWARD AT CONSIDERABLE SPEED OVER A CURB, OVER THE TOP OF A FENCE WALL (ABOUT 18" HIGH AT PARKING LOT LEVEL) AND THROUGH A CYCLONE FENCE, DROPPING ABOUT EIGHT FEET TO THE SIDE OF A RAILROAD TRACK.
