I WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL CRASH WHERE A VEHICLE PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME. BOTH VEHICLES WERE A TOTAL LOSS RESUTING PERSONAL INJURY TO ME. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. I WAS TRAVELING 55 MPH ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AT TIIME OF A ACCIDENT. I HAD TO HAVE BRAIN SURGERY AS A RESULT. I HAD OTHER INJURIES ALSO. TWO INCIDENTS OF BRAKE FAILURE. THE FIRST TIME ABOUT A MONTH AGO WHEN THE BRAKES FAILED, THEY DID ENGAGE AND STARTED WORKING AFTER PUMPING THEM SEVERAL TIMES. ON JUNE 8, 1999 THE BRAKES FAILED AGAIN EVEN AFTER PUMPING THEM AND PUTTING THE BRAKE PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND, AND THE VEHICLE RAN INTO A FENCE IN ORDER TO STOP. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN AT THE SITE, AND BOTH POLICE OFFICERS AGREED THAT THERE WERE NO SKID MARKS AND IN FACT THIS COULD BE A MASTER CYLINDER PROBLEM. THE TRUCK WAS TO
DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 20-25 MPH, DROVE OVER SLIGHT DIP WHEN DUAL AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT HITTING ANYTHING OR WITHOUT WARNING, CAUSING INJURIES AND BURNS. *AK
