Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. RETRACRING OF SEATBELT FAILED CAUSING SEATBELT TO RETAIN SLACK ONCE CLIPED. THEN CAUSING SEATBELT TO NOT FIT TIGHTLY AGAINST PASSENGERS.

I OWN A 94 DODGE STEALTH R/T. HAS ABOUT A LITTLE OVER 77K MILES ON IT AND EVER SINCE I GOT IT, WHEN IT ONLY HAD 25K MILES ON IT, THE SEAT BELT HAS NEVER REALLY RETRACTED PROPERLY AND ALWAYS HAS SLACK IN IT IF PULLED ON. I HAVE TO WORK THE SEAT BELT THROUGH THE SLOT IT IS SUPPOSED TO RETRACT IN, IN ORDER FOR IT TO COME BACK TO WHERE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. *NM
ALL FOUR SEAT BELTS IN MY 1994 DODGE STEALTH DO NOT RETRACT PROPERLY. I WOULD SAY THAT OVER 90% OF THE TIME THE SEAT BELT DOES NOT RETACT AT ALL. THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN OF MINE! *JB
