TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2000 MITSUBISHI MONTERO SPORT. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE REAR ENDED THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO TWO VEHICLES AHEAD OF HER WHILE THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS ENGAGED. THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AS IT ROLLED OVER AND LANDED ON ITS DRIVER'S SIDE. SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE SO TOOK TO MECHANIC HE PUT ON MACHINE TO SEE IF TRANSMISSION WAS GOING BUT IT WAS NOT. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE &:ONLY ONE TIME DID I GET A RECALL FOR A PLUG TO BE REPLACED BUT THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHERS EVEN HAVING TO DO WITH BRAKES. I HAVE HAD FAMILY MEMBERS IN MY SUV THAT CAN VALIDATE ISSUES HAPPENING. I HOPE SOMEONE WILL ACT ON THIS SINCE I HAVE READ THIS HAS HAPPENED TO SEVERAL OTHERS. THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN A FLOOD AND I DON'T LIVE NEAR SALD WATER. THE REST OF THE CAR IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THE CAR IS NOW UNDRIVABLE. *TR
