A TRUCK DROPPED SOME BOXES ON THE FREEWAY. A CAR STOPPED SUDDENLY TO AVOID THE BOXES, ANOTHER CAR HIT THEM, FINALLY WE HIT THAT CAR. IT WAS A 3 CAR PILEUP. I WAS DRIVING AND MY WIFE WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. WE WERE THE LAST CAR IN THE LINE AND HIT AT ABOUT 45+ MPH. AC UNIT RELEASED A GASEOUS SMELL., SMOKE GUSHED OUT FROM HOOD....THERE WAS A LOUD POP SOUND THAT RESEMBLED A TIRE BLOWING OUT....THE COMPLETE SYSTEM TO MY CAR SHUT DOWN AND ENGINE INCLUDED. THE CAR WOULD NOT RESTART FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 HOURS.....AND THAT WAS ONLY AFTER I HAD SPENT 165.00 ON A TOW TRUCK TO TOW THE CAR OVER 75 MILES. *AK
MASTER CONTROL SWITCH MALFUNCTIONED AND STARTED A SMALL FIRE THAT MELTED THE BUTTONS ON THE DOOR-MITSUBISHI REFUSED ANY LIABILITY, I PAID 575.00 FOR THE FAULTY PRODUCTS MITSUBISHI MANUFACTURES-I SPOKE TO MITSUBISHI'S CORPOATE HEADQUARTES-THEY REFUSED TO ASSIST ME IN ANY WAY. ANY ADVICE? THANKS

AS I TURNED THE IGNITION TO START MY CAR ON MORNING, THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR CAUGHT ON FIRE AND MELTED. THE FIRE CEASED AS SOON AS I TURNED THE CAR OFF. MY CAR DEALERS WHICH AREN'T BEING HELPFUL AT ALL, ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY LIABILITY FOR THIS DEFECT WITHIN MITSUBISHI.TODAY MY DEALER TELLS MY ITS GONNA COST ME $130.00 MORE BECAUSE THE WINDOW WAS FRIED AND DOESN'T WORK.
