The contact owns a 2020 Mini Cooper S Clubman. The contact stated that upon arriving at her destination and exiting the vehicle, the driver's side door closed, and then bounced back open. After, the contact became aware that the door latches had failed to keep the door securely closed for the driver’s and passenger’s side doors. The door-ajar warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the driver and passenger side door latches. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
