I OWN A 1994 MERCURY VILLAGER THAT WAS GIVEN TO US BACK IN 2005 AFTER WE LOST EVERYTHING IN HURRICANE KATRINA. COMPLAINED ABOUT THE FIRESTONE SEIBERLING TIRES THAT WERE ON THIS VEHICLE. SEIBERLING TRAILRIDER RADIAL, LT P205 75 R15/MS. I RECENTLY REPLACED THE 2 FRONT SEIBERLINGS TIRES ON APRIL 29, 2007 DUE TO THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE HAVING TREAD SEPARATION. I KEPT THE SEIBERLING TIRES ON THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE AS A SPARE. STILL HAD 2 SEIBERLING TIRES ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. WELL,

MY WIFE AND KIDS WHERE PULLING OUT OF THE GARAGE WHEN SMOKE BEGAN TO FILL THE VEHICLE. SHE TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND TOOK THE KIDS OUT OF THE VEHICLE. A FEW MINUTES LATER THE CAR WAS IN AN INFERNO. I SPOKE TO FORD AND THEY INITIALLY DENIED ANY RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE BUT I FOUND A COUPLE ON MY OWN THROUGH YOUR WEB SITE. ONCE THAT WAS MADE KNOWN TO FORD THEY SIMPLY STATED THAT I WAS SENT LETTERS TO HAVE THE REPAIRS MADE SO THEY HAVE NO LIABILITY. THIS IS WRONG I'M SURE. MY WIFE AND TWO SMALL CHIL

CONSUMER REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE DUE TO BRAKE FAILURE. WHEN APPYING BRAKES, PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND VEHICLE DIDN'T STOP. *AK
AFTER BEING INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, AND REPAIRS DONE BY AN INDEPENDENT BODY SHOP, MANUAL SLIDING DOOR WOULD INTERMITTENTLY OPEN WHEN RUNING OVER A BUMP OR A POTHOLE. DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS ON THIS MATTER. *AK

WHILE DRIVING THE LEFT FRONT CONTROL ARM BROKE, CAUSING THE WHEEL AND BRAKE HOUSING TO BREAK AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE, RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT. *AK
FAILURE OF THE STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN, CONSUMER PULLED THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE RIGHT TO PREVENT AN ACCIDENT AND THE STEERING GAVE WAY, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO ROLLOVER AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK*JB
