THE MECHANIC STATED THAT HER FUSE BOX MELTED, WHICH CAUSED THE BLOWER MOTOR TO FAIL. SHE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND A REPRESENTATIVE STATED THAT HER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 01V230000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), ALTHOUGH THE FAILURES WERE IDENTICAL. DT: CONTACT' SSON SEAT BELT BROKE DURING AN ACCIDENT AND HE WAS EJECTED FROM THE CAR. THIS HAPPENED ON 7-7-05. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SEAT BELT PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. SHE TOOK PICTURES OF THE ACCIDENT. SHE TOOK PICTURES OF THE SEAT BELT ITSELF. THE CLIP THAT WENT INTO THE BUCKLE WAS MISSING SOME OF ITS PARTS AND THE BUCKLE WAS BENT. HE WAS HIT ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE CAR AND TOTALED THE CAR. HE WAS TRAVELING APPROX. 30 MPH. HE BROKE HIS NECK, HAD SEVEN BROKEN RIBS AND PUNCTURED

I PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, OPENED THE HOOD AND THE FIRST THING I SAW WAS FIRE COMING FROM BEHIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. THE CAR CAUGHT FIRE AND BURNED JUST FIVE AFTER I PULLED OVER. NO WARNING LIGHTS, LOOKED AT TEMP GAUGE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE BEFORE THE FIRE. CALLED 911 AT 5:44 PM, FIRE DEPT CAME AND PUT OUT THE FIRE. THIS WAS ON THE INTERSTATE. *NM *SB

MY PROBLEM IS THAT MY CAR STALLS WHEN DRIVEN AT ANY SPEED, WHETHER I AM STOPPED, TURNING OR JUST DRIVING. I HAVE BROUGHT THIS CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET FIXED AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS. THIS WAS ACCIDENT RELATED AND MY INSURANCE SAID IF IT ISN'T ACCIDENT RELATED THEN I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BILL THAT THE DEALER WILL CHARGE FOR LOOKING AT THE CAR. NOW THIS STARTED HAPPENING WHEN MY CAR WAS HIT IN THE FRONT AT OVER 40+ MILES/HR. AM I PROTECTED BY ANY LAW THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO GET THIS CA
CONSUMER WAS STOPPED READY TO MAKE A LEFT TURN AND WAS REARENDED. PASSENGER'S LAP BELT WAS FINE, BUT SHOULDER BELT DIDN'T LOCK, CAUSING PASSENGER TO MOVE FORWARD. DRIVER'S SEATBELT ACTED PROPERLY. DEALER DIDN'T HAVE MUCH INFORMATION TO GIVE.*AK
WIRING HARNESS BURNED, CAUSING A SMALL FIRE. DEALER HAS REPLACED WIRING HARNESS.*AK
WHILE DRIVING A/C MOTOR STOPPED, CONSUMER TURNED OFF THE A/C SWITCH. THEN NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER DASH, CONSUMER STOPPED, AND VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. ENTIRE DASHBOARD FELL OUT ON CONSUMER .*AK
