STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST:HOSE, PIPING, AND CONNECTIONS

Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2015-2020 Mercedes Benz Sprinter and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles. The hydraulic power steering return line hoses may detach at their connection points under certain operating conditions, causing hydraulic fluid to leak.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE ROAD IN CRUISE CONTROL ENGINE JUST SUDDENLY GOES INTO LIMP MODE AND LOSES POWER. IT IS VERY UNSAFE TO PULL OVER THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY OR WHILE GOING UPHILL. ERROR CODE WAS P0087- LOW FUEL RAIL PRESSURE! AFTER PULLING OVER AND SHUTTING OFF THE VEHICLE AND RE-STARTING IT THEN IT GOES BACK TO NORMAL. NEED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AS IT IS VERY UNSAFE! IT HAPPENED 4X DURING MY TRAVEL OF 8000 MILES
