TAKATA RECALL. MY CAR HAS TWO RECALLS, AND IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS WITHOUT A SOLUTION YET. I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING THE DEALER AND THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THE LACK OF EFFORT MERCEDES BENZ IS PUTTING TO SOLVE THIS RECALL IS DISCONCERTING.
AIRBAGS STILL HAVEN'T BEEN FIXED YET! MERCEDES SAYING AIRBAGS AREN'T AVAILABLE YET, SO HOW LONG WE ARE GOING TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE BEFORE HAPPEN TO MY WIFE, DAUGHTER OR MYSELF GET INJURED OR KILLED!!!
THIS VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLAINT IS REALLY A NOTIFICATION OF LAWLESSNESS. I WAS NOTIFIED IN MAY 2016 OF THE AIR BAG RECALL. IT'S NOW BEEN 3 YRS AND I CONTINUE TO DRIVE A VEHICLE KNOWN TO HAVE A DEFECTIVE TAKATA AIRBAG. AN AIRBAG THAT "UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES DURING A CRASH THAT NECESSITATES FRONTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT, THE DEFECT IN YOUR PASSENGER-SIDE AIRBAG INFLATOR MAY CAUSE HE AIRBAG TO EXPLODE.........RESULTING IN SHARP METAL FRAGMENTS STRIKING THE FRONT PASSENGER OR OTHER OCCUPANTS, POSSIBLY CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH"!! I THINK 3 YRS WAITING FOR THIS POTENTIAL DISASTER IS RIDICULOUS, LAWLESS AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. MY LOCAL MERCEDES DEALER POINTS THE FINGER TO MERCEDES AND DOES NOT BELIEVE REMOVING A POTENTIALLY FATAL AIRBAG IS AN OPTION. AN JUST TODAY I RECEIVE YET ANOTHER LETTER STATING REPLACEMENT PARTS ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE. SERIOUSLY? 3 YRS LATER? REPAIRS ARE PRIORITIZED ACCORDING TO "RISK FACTORS". EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH THIS RECALL BEST PRAY I DO NOT GET
TAMARA RECALL. HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY WORD ON WHEN MY CARS RECALL ISSUE WILL BE FIXED. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR ALREADY, AND MY CAR HAS TWO RECALLS THAT ARE LIFE THREATENING! I NEED MY CAR TO DRIVE AROUND, AND CAN NOT AFFORD TO USE ALTERNATIVES.
