COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PRESENTS FALSE POSITIVES (DASH INDICATOR LIGHTS AND BEEPS) WHEN PASSING CARS IN ADJACENT LANE ON LEFT. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH WHEN DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. AT NO TIME HAS IT PROVED HELPFUL AND IS IN FACT DISTRACTING AND DANGEROUS. DEALER TESTED SYSTEM AND FOUND IT TO BE WITH SPECS. IT CAN BE DISABLED BUT WILL BE REACTIVATED EVERY TIME THE CAR IS STARTED. I'VE CONSIDERED ELECTRICAL TAPING THE SENSOR BUT DEALER WARNED AGAINST IT. THIS SYSTEM SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM CARS! *TR
