The 2015MERCEDES-BENZE350 carries 39 consumer safety complaints in NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation database for this specific model-year cohort. Within that volume, owners reported 4 crashes, 0 fires, 1 injury, and 0 fatalities. No NCAP 5-star crash-test rating is available for this model year in the federal database.
Component-level analysis is where model-year complaints become actionable: the top complaint category for the 2015 E350 is electrical system with 5 filings, followed by steering (5) and service brakes (4). Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability. This model year has 6 active recall campaigns, which means the manufacturer is obligated to remedy the covered defect at no charge for the life of the vehicle — the full NHTSA campaign numbers are listed below.
NHTSA currently has 1 investigation file overlapping the 2015 E350. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. Use the related-complaint feed below to read raw owner narratives before deciding whether any pattern here affects your specific use case.

Rear brake lines rusted out on top of rear subframe which is rusting out and caused immediate brake failure . Our lives and the lives of other were at risk because we were driving on highway and suddenly brakes went to floor and had complete loss of brakes There were no prior warnings no way to prevent this ...i see there is a recall on the subframe but not on the brake lines even though ive now read of this happening to many people
I had a brake line blowout in my 2015 Benz E350 rear brake line blowout. The rear lines were complete rusted out.
The contact owns a 2015 Mercedes-Benz E350. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle made abnormally loud cracking sounds. The contact stated that the failure mostly occurred while turning, driving over a bump in the roadway, and while driving on a steep roadway. An independent mechanic inspected the vehicle and determined that the abnormal sound was coming from the sunroof. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.

crankcase ventilation valve continues to fail. I have had it replaced twice in 3 months.
I was driving the car and when applied the breaks noticed that they werenât working. It was close to be an accident with the car in front of mine, but I was able to maneuver the car. When I stopped noticed that the break fluid container was almost empty and the fluid was leaking under the car. I brought the car to the Mercedes Benz dealership and they said that it was ânormal corrosionâ that caused the break lines to be totally rusted and leak. They also mentioned that âit was pretty common to happen in those cars during summerâ. I had no option but to pay several thousand dollars for the replacement of the rusted and corroded brake lines. It is clear that Mercedes Benz doesnât care about the safety of the passengers, and even worse, profiting from a defect in the materials that they use for the brake lines. Someone should make Mercedes-Benz recall the cars affected and replace the defective brake lines, free of cost for the owner. Passengerâs safety is not a busines

Rear subframe assembly prematurely rust causing failure of the assembly requiring replacement. If not found could cause failure while driving resulting in an accident.
My 2015 E350 with only 40,000 miles was diagnosed to have a rotted and detached rear sub frame . Seems to be a common problem because of defective metal used by the manufacturer. There seems to be a lot of others with same issue I found on the internet . While Mercedesâ Benz has no recall as of yet. While driving on the highway , while at 50 to 60 mph. The car would sway and feel like it was sliding . After hitting the brakes the car would pull drastically to one side . After inspection at my Mercedes Benz dealership they told me that it is completely rotted and broke apart, this is a life safety accident since it could disconnect and hit gas tank and rip apart brake lines. The rear axle would shift and possibly fall out. While driving this car it put my family in complete danger . There were no signs , warning lights etc . That could have made me aware of the severe situation.
The rear subframe of the car (MB E350, 2015 with 81,000 miles) is completely rusted/corroded through creating an unsafe situation where the car pulled left on braking with resultant loss of control of the vehicle as it spun out. The brake lines are adjacent and are also currently being inspected by MB Open Road Service [XXX] in Bridgewater, NJ. It is a miracle we (my three grandchildren, my husband, and/or I) were not involved in a tragic accident. This manufacturing component failure has been widely reported in the USA and worldwide for years with recalls in other countries, but not yet in the USA. I also reported this by phone to MBUSA, but have yet to receive any information or confirmation of the issue in writing. As you can see from the photo (courtesy of Denson's Auto Repair who has seen this issue before), the subframe is completely corroded through. There were no warning lights and I get my vehicle serviced at the dealer every year. The vehicle was thoroughly inspected i
The rear suspension feels like itâs loose and Mercedes Benz dealership says itâs nothing wrong I almost lost control of the car
