NHTSA currently has 15 investigation files overlapping the 2024 E 350. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. Main instrument cluster and infotainment system locked up during driving after dark, the screens froze and then went black. All exterior lights went out during driving. No speedometer or other warning lights are working. It is a serious safety issue! Turning the car off, waiting 10 minutes, and starting it again did not fix the issue no matter what i did trying to recover the system. The screens either turn on and stay frozen or they stay dark. The engine starts but all instruments are not working, and all UI controls are unresponsive. It appears that very many other drivers reporting similar safety issues with 2024 Mercedes E350 on the [XXX] user forum and the manufacturer (Mercedes) is not recalling and/or fixing this serious and known issues but keeps selling defective and dangerous cars! I just got delivery of my brand-new car today and the major safety related systems failed in less than 10 miles of driving! In addition, something in the car consumes a lot of electrical power fro

The master central screen as well as the passenger screen that contains all features for radio, navigation, control of reading road signs, climate control and the like go BLACK randomly during the four weeks I have owned the 2024 E Class Mercedes. It will reboot after 2-5 minutes with no lost data. Dealer in Cherry Hill, NJ did major software update not completed at time of purchase. But incident happened after two weeks. Others with this make, year and model have same situations with dealerships not knowing anything. Supposedly, Mercedes knows but a solution may be three months or more. This is a safety issue as if happens at night, you lose all connections even to the cell phone and no speed sign indicator on. You cannot see anything but the driver screen with just the speed you are doing. Cruise control disengages which is using all security systems and navigation map.

Iâve been hearing a creaking noise in the rear when coming to a stop. Independent mechanic inspected it and said the subframe was severely rusted and that I probably should not drive long distances until it is fixed. They researched and said others have had similar issue. Mercedes apparently is aware and offers an âextended warranty.â I have an appointment in two weeks (!) to have it looked at by a Mercedes mechanic. They will pay for the repair/replacement IF warranted. Should be a recall, IMO. Canât imagine that the part in question, which according to my mechanic, âessentially holds the back of the car togetherâ wouldnât be an immediate recall. Car has 120k miles on it.
