Component-level analysis is where model-year complaints become actionable: the top complaint category for the 2019 E 300 is unknown or other with 8 filings, followed by seat belts (7) and electrical system (3). Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability. This model year has 7 active recall campaigns, which means the manufacturer is obligated to remedy the covered defect at no charge for the life of the vehicle — the full NHTSA campaign numbers are listed below.
NHTSA currently has 15 investigation files overlapping the 2019 E 300. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. Use the related-complaint feed below to read raw owner narratives before deciding whether any pattern here affects your specific use case.

Report of Unresolved Recall Issue Dear NHTSA Team, I am writing to report an issue concerning an open safety recall on my 2019 Mercedes-Benz E300. I have received official notification that there is an active recall on this vehicle. However, when I brought the car to the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Harlingen, Texas, the dealership refused to perform the recall repair and instead attempted to charge me for it. As this is a safety matter, I wanted to bring it to your attention so that you can take any necessary steps on your end. I appreciate your assistance in ensuring that all safety recalls are properly addressed. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
High pressure fuel line is weeping gas and making the cabin smell like fuel when heat is on. Smell is strong and is a safety concern.
I have a 2019 Mercedes E300. My backup camera is cutting out while still in reverse. There is an open saftey recall for that specific year, make and model. Campaign #2022060007. Mercedes has told me there is no open recall for my vin even though I am experiencing the same saftey issue. The Issue has been diagnosed by an independent shop. It is a software update not a part that needs to be replaced. It has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or others. There has never been a warning light on for this issue.
AI am getting this "P052E" code on a 2019 Mercedes E300 - malfunction with Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve.
The rear backup camera failed. There are recalls on my vehicle year make and model but not my VIN number. I have the same issue as the recall.

Crankcase ventilation system error - triggered a P052E Code (PCV). This seems to be a common issue. This causes issues with the fuel mixture.

On May 23, 2023, the audible and visual seat belt alerts activated to notify me that the driver and/or passenger that the seat belt was not properly secured. However, both the driver and/or the passenger had the seat belt on at all times the car was moving. We tried unbuckling then re-buckling to the seat belts to see whether this would affect the alerts, but it did not. We took the car to the Mercedes-Benz dealership on May 31, 2023, but they could not replicate the problem and it resolved on its own. At the time of this first occurrence, our car had 25,053 miles. Our car now has about 32,000 miles. This past weekend, on February 3, 2024, the problem recurred and the visual and audible alerts continue to be activated. I did a web search and I noticed there is a recall for my model, make and year (2019 Mercedes-Benz E300), for what appears to be the SAME problem, but for some odd reason, my car is not on the recall list. The NHTSA campaign number is 19V-788. Both the audible and visu

There is no spare tire and during our drive to Las Vegas the run flat tires blew out and the tire ripped off the rim. We couldn't even travel one mile on the run flat tires. We were stuck in the hot desert for over 2 1/2 hours before the towing car came. Mercedes did not let us know that due to run flat tires there was no spare tire but unfortunately the run flats don't work and cannot be driven not even 1 mile. Our lives were in danger and thank God we had water in the 100 degree heat in the desert.

My husband and I were driving on the interstate in Indianapolis, Indiana yesterday, November22, 2021 and out of the clear blue our sunroof exploded on our 2019 Mercedes Benz E300W4. This was not due to being hit by something and we were not near an overpass. It exploded from the center outward. This experience scared me to death as I tried to maintain control of our vehicle in the multi lanes of traffic. Glass fell from the sunroof into our back seat which was another concern. Thankfully, we didn't have our grandchildren with us. We immediately headed to the Indianapolis Mercedes dealership where I got the car for service. They told us that it was not covered under warranty due to the damage being glass. They then told us to contact our insurance company for help. They were absolutely no help to us and seemed to brush us off as quick as they could. We are scheduled to have the sunroof repaired next week, however, now I'm a week without a car to drive, and the cost of the rep
