I think the recall is on communication software. I contacted Mercedes Benz many times in the past 2 years. Mercedes Benz asked its dealer to do the recall but dealer said they cannot do it. Mecedes Benz also said their software supplier had not found a solution yet.

I was driving on the hwy 94 in Minneapolis and I had the cap to my sunroof fly off on the freeway. There’s a recall out on the sale vehicle but 4matic but not on my vin number. This is a huge safety issue and it’s been happening to quite a few people I know.
