Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021-2023 CLS450, E450, E450 All-Terrain, AMG E53, AMG GT43, AMG GT53, and 2021 AMG CLS53 vehicles. The 48-volt ground cable connection located in the engine compartment may not be tightened properly and may result in the ground cable overheating.
Was traveling to Ft. Worth to babysit my grandchildren and when I was on the freeway in afternoon traffic my car was not accelerating and I kept stepping on the gas and the car started to get slower and then all of a sudden it completely stopped in the middle of traffic(I didn't pull over to the side like Mercedes stated, it stopped in the middle lane of the freeway, the engine light was on) and I had to locate the hazard lights so no one would run into the back of my car. When it stopped, I had to put it in park and restart the car. I thank God that my grandchildren weren't with me or that someone didn't hit the back of the car. I ask Siri to find the nearest dealership and it was Mercedes-Benz of Grapevine, proceeded to go there first. They called me the next morning and told me it was the Fuel Pump. Then on Jan. 16, 2026, I took my car in for routine maintenance and they found a leak on the Front Differential and they practically removed the whole engine to fix the leak. Had th
