PLEASE SEE MY E-MAIL OF SEPT. 4 WHEREIN I DESCRIBED THE TIRE FAILURE FULLY. OUR TIRE SHREDDED AS WE WERE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AND APPARENTLY WE ARE LUCKY NOT TO BE INJURED PHYSICALLY...OR WORSE. HOWEVER, I AM FURIOUS THAT FIRESTONE DEALERS WERE NOT ONLY STILL SELLING THE TIRES THE WEEK BEFORE THE ANNOUNCED RECALL, BUT WHEN QUESTIONED ASSURED ME - WHEN I ACTUALLY QUESTIONED WHETHER I WANTED TO PUT ANY MORE OF THESE TIRES ON MY CAR ( I NOW HAVE FOUR FIRESTONE/BRIDGESTONES!) - THEY ASSURED ME THEY WERE "GOOD TIRES". PLEASE CALL ME OR LOCATE THAT E-MAIL OR I WOULD BE GLAD TO FAX IT.( DOT NUMBER: )
