MASERATI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008-2010 GRANTURISMO AND GRANTURISMO CONVERTIBLE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 2008 TO MARCH 2010. DUE TO A FAULTY LAMP ASSEMBLY, THE REAR LIGHTS (BOTH TAIL AND BRAKE) MAY FAIL.

MASERATI IS RECALLING 824 MY 2009 GRANTURISMO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH THE OPTIONAL FRONT PARKING SENSOR SYSTEM. THESE VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH FAULTY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE WHICH AFFECTS THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SEAT BELT WARNING BUZZER'S ABILITY TO ACTIVATE, THEREBY NOT P
STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY
MASERATI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2009 GRANTURISMO AND QUATTROPORTE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JULY 3, 2008, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2008. THE REAR SUSPENSION LEFT-SIDE AND RIGHT-SIDE WHEEL ALIGNMENT TOE-IN TIE- RODS MAY FAIL DUE TO INCORRECT MACHINING.
TAILLIGHTS WERE PART OF MASERATI RECALL 198. A RECALL LETTER WAS SENT TO THE PREVIOUS OWNER BUT NO SERVICE WAS EVER PERFORMED. A VIN SEARCH ON MASERATIUSA.COM REVEALS A DOWNLOADABLE COPY OF THIS RECALL LETTER INDICATING LIGHTS MANUFACTURED BEFORE 2010 ARE FAULTY. MINE WERE MANUFACTURED IN 2008 AND DESPITE THIS EVIDENCE MASERATI HAS DECLINED SERVICE. I AM ASKING FOR HELP IN GETTING MASERATI TO REPLACE THE TAILLIGHTS, WHICH TURN OFF SPORADICALLY WHILE DRIVING. IT'S ALSO WORTH NOTING THAT WHEN I RAN THIS VIN ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE IT SHOWED THE SAME RECALL. UNFOR

CAR LOSES MOST OF IT'S POWER UNEXPECTEDLY. CAR STOPS ACCELERATING AND DASHBOARD ERROR LIGHTS DISPLAYED ARE "CHECK ENGINE", "ASR FAILURE GO TO DEALER", "CHECK SUSPENSION", "MSP FAILURE GO TO DEALER". CAR HAS BROKEN DOWN 4 TIMES WITH A LOSS OF POWER AND STATED ERROR WARNINGS, AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP ALL 4 TIMES. CAR PURCHASED IN JANUARY 2010. CAR BREAK DOWN # 1 IN MARCH 2010, BREAKDOWN # 2 JUNE 2010, BREAKDOWN #3 JULY 2010, AND BREAKDOWN #4 IN OCTOBER 2010. ENTIRE ELECTRICAL HARNESS WAS REPLACED UPON BREAKDOWN #3, BUT THIS DID NOT SOLVE THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM, AS IT BROKE DOWN FOR A 4TH TIME WITH SAME INSTRUMENT PANEL WARNINGS AS FIRST 3 TIMES. CAR REMAINS AT THE DEALERSHIP. *TR
