TAKATA RECALL. RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE JULY 2016. CONTACTED DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS TO REMEDY THE SITUATION TO NO AVAIL. ON MY THIRD CALL I WAS TOLD THE MANUFACTURER WAS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO UNTIL SUCH TIME FORD MOTOR CO. COMES UP WITH A SOLUTION.

TAKATA RECALL: WE PURCHASED OUR 2008 LINCOLN MKZ IN OCTOBER, 2016. WE WERE GIVEN NOTICE OF THE RECALL AT THAT TIME AND PROMPTLY WENT TO OUR LOCAL LINCOLN DEALER TO REGISTER OUR VEHICLE. WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN THE PARTS CAME IN BUT WE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. WE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES AND WERE ALWAYS GIVEN THE SAME RESPONSE. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.
TAKATA RECALL : DEALER HAS NOT ACQUIRED PARTS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE REPLACEMENT.
TAKATA RECALL - I RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN JULY 2016. THE LETTER STATED WE WOULD BE CONTACTED WHEN THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. IT IS NOW OCTOBER 2017. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND WE STILL HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN CAN I EXPECT A RESOLUTION?

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE.
