FAILURE OF A "SNAP TOGETHER" PLASTIC BUSHING, WHICH CONNECTS THE SHIFT SELECTOR CABLE TO THE TRANSMISSION BELLCRANK, CAUSED VEHICLE TO LURCH BACKWARDS. THE OWNER WAS KNOCKED DOWN AND FOOT WAS RUN OVER BY VEHICLE AS A RESULT.
