Component-level analysis is where model-year complaints become actionable: the top complaint category for the 2022 CORSAIR is electrical system with 5 filings, followed by service brakes (4) and unknown or other (4). Concentration in one or two component groups is the classic signature of a systemic defect; a flat distribution usually reflects normal aging, warranty complaints, or isolated build-plant variability. This model year has 19 active recall campaigns, which means the manufacturer is obligated to remedy the covered defect at no charge for the life of the vehicle — the full NHTSA campaign numbers are listed below.
NHTSA currently has 15 investigation files overlapping the 2022 CORSAIR, and 1 remain open. Owners comparing this cohort against neighboring years should pair the counters above with the complaint-by-year trend on the parent model page — a spike in a single year often tracks to a platform refresh, a new transmission supplier, or an updated ECU calibration. Use the related-complaint feed below to read raw owner narratives before deciding whether any pattern here affects your specific use case.

On February 5, 2026, the vehicle was involved in an accident in which the driver side was struck by another vehicle as it went through an intersection. The other vehicle was going approximately 40 mph when it impacted my vehicle. The driver side was impacted hard enough that the door would not open, yet none of the airbags went off. When the vehicle was towed to a collision repair center, the owner upon completing an estimate said he believed the airbags had malfunctioned, as the side airbags definitely should have gone off, and potentially the front ones should have, too. The vehicle is currently still at the collision center, but insurance has determined it to be a total loss and will be taking possession at some point in the near future.

The rear camera feed is very blurry. Often times it in usable. Sometimes cross traffic alert does not work. I know this is part of the recall but with no solution available should I be entitled to a rental while waiting?

My 2022 Lincoln Corsair has an open NHTSA recall (25V789 / Ford 25SC4) for a high-voltage battery cell internal short circuit that can cause sudden loss of motive power. There is currently NO remedy available. Before this recall was issued, my vehicle already lost power while I was driving on the highway, creating an immediate crash risk. This confirms the defect is active in my vehicle. In addition to the recall, the vehicle has experienced multiple major failures including: a long block engine replacement, HV battery program involvement, electrical system issues, axle/drivetrain repairs, and multiple CSP campaigns. These failures show a repeated pattern of serious defects. Lincoln Customer Relations and my dealership have stated they âcannot do anythingâ because there is no remedy, and told me I must continue driving the vehicle despite the documented highway shutdown. I am extremely concerned for my safety because the recall states that loss of power increases the risk of a cr

Not often, but at least 1-2 times a year at slow speeds, the brakes fail to function. The pedal feels odd, and unresponsive usually under 5mph parking lot type speeds. Have to place car in park in order for it to stop. Had to dealer when I first got it almost 3yrs ago but they were unable ro duplicate. Restarting the car resolved issue for the instance and it could be a year before it happens again. Itâs scary, Google search brings this issue right up with a lot of complaints. This sounds like a future recall.
I bought my car new. It has 5070 miles and the battery went dead. The car is in the garage when not in use. The dealer would not replace it and I contacted the Lincoln company and hear no response from them.
While driving on [XXX] I was in traffic, Car ahead of me was 2 Car lengths ahead, emergency Brake slammed on! I had put my foot lightly on brake to slow down to keep safe distance! We were violently thrown forward( unexpected stoppage) . Car in back had to slam on its brakes and swerve off Road to keep from hitting us! This has happened about 4 times. I have taken Car to dealer and they keep saying there is nothing wrong with the Car! The Service guy who I am assigned to told me to cut off the Braking system. If itâs not safe why do the keep it on the Car and sell it! I am afraid to drive the Car for fear I will be killed or injure somebody else! The Service dept does not note what I brought Car in for on my service history, this is deceptive record keeping! Claiming I brought Car in for other services, when I clearly complained about the Braking problem! INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

May 12,2023 Manufacturer Recall Number23S23 NHTSA Recall Number23V342 Despite my repeated calls, Pugmire Lincoln of Marietta has failed to schedule a repair to my recalled rear camera. Right now, the camera works about 50% of the time and remains a dangerous situation. Memory seat moves on its own while driving. It also fails to retain memory settings. Has been to dealer multiple times and the seat motor was replaced twice. It's dangerous to drive as you must adjust seat while driving constantly. Electronics system doesn't remember settings forcing you to continually adjust while driving - very distracting. Once the seat pushed me all the way forward onto the dashboard while driving on the freeway.

After stopping vehicle at red light, drive thru, stop sign, when I try to accelerate a check engine light comes on and message power train malfunction/reduced power. The vehicle then has to be put in park, restart, and put back in drive. This happened when pulling out into road at a stop sign, and a busy red light. I feel this is a safety issue. I have taken the vehicle to Lincoln and they state unable to duplicate problem. This has happened four times since I purchased the vehicle new in August 2023. The most recent time was December 6.
