The contact owns a 2024 Lexus TX 500H. The contact stated that while the vehicle was turned off and attempting to refuel the vehicle, the fuel tank door release button was depressed multiple times however, the fuel door did not open until after several attempts. The contact removed the plastic panel from the wheel well and pulled the fuel tank door lever manually and opened the fuel door. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
