TAKATA RECALL. WHEN DRIVING THE 2008 LEXUS GS 350 4DR SEDAN STALLS WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION, IT IS UNCONTROLABLE. FOR EXAMPLE WHEN I'M AT A RED LIGHT AND MY FOOT IS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND I PRESS MY FOOT GRADUALLY ON THE GAS PEDAL WHEN THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN. THEN CAR WILL STALL FOR ABOUT 1 TO 2 MINTUES, THEN WILL INCREASE IN SPEED. IT'S DANGEROUS BECAUSE, WHEN I NEED TO TURN AND THE CAR STALLS IN THE MIDDLE OF A TURN IT WOULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT TO OCCUR. OR WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION GOING STRAIGHT ON A HIGHWAY OR AN INTERSECTION IT COULD STALL, AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT TO OCCUR. IT DOESNT HAPPEN EVERYTIME WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION, SO FAR I'VE BEEN NOTICING AND TAKING NOTE IT HAS BEEN OCCURING 4X OR MORE TIMES A WEEK. BECAUSE OF THE INCONSITENCY OF THE CAR STALLING WHEN IN MOTION IT MAKES IT ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS FOR THE OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD AND PEDESTRAINS. FROM THE TIME THE 2008 LEXUS GS, LABOR DAY 2008, WAS OBTAINED I HAD PROBLEMS SEEING AT NIGHT ON A DARK ROAD, HIGHWAY OR INTERSTATE. UNLESS THE BRIGHTS ARE ON THERE IS A BLACK WALL IN FRONT OF THE AREA WHERE THE LIGHT BEAMS STOP. I OVERDRIVE THE LIGHTED AREA AND DRIVE INTO THE BLACK NIGHT. THE BRIGHTS NEED TO BE ON TO SEE-WHICH IS A DANGER AND ANNOYANCE TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS FIXED SINCE OCTOBER 2008. THE LATEST DATE BEING JANUARY 2011. LEXUS TELLS ME THAT THE HEADLIGHTS ARE ADJUSTED AS HIGH AS THEY CAN GO. I ASKED FOR THEM TO CHANGE THE BULBS FROM HALOGEN TO INCANDESCENT OR TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE UNIT. LEXUS SAYS THEY CAN'T DO THAT.
