While driving my 2019 Range Rover Evoque on the highway on [XXX], the headliner on my vehicle just suddenly collapsed, hitting me in the head while driving and blocking my view of my rear windshield and rear view mirror and startling me almost causing a serious accident at 70 miles per hour. Something like this should not happen on a car that is just a few years old and has less than 30k miles on it. The adhesive in the headliner just simply failed and the whole thing collapsed. I called my Land Rover Dealership and they just stated that the warranty expired 2 years ago and nothing they can do. So then I called Land Rover corporate at 1800-637-6837 option 9 and they told me they can't help either unless I take it to dealership and spend $300 to get a diagnostic report from them. Then they may or may not assist me. I brought to their attention that the model year 2020 Range Rover Evoque has 2 current recalls for the same issue, Failing headliner and headliner built missing materials

incident # 11633408 December 30, 2024 The car was serviced due to a faulty door latch. Pd $1200.00 Two days later the passenger door flew open, and would not close. After 10 minutes I finally got the door to close fully.2 days later, the same door opened and almost hit shoppers in a parking lot. This continued until I did not use the passenger door at all. I returned the car to the dealership. Diagnosis..they had installed a faulty door latch again! This issue has been on recall. yet my car in number was not part of the recall so I had to pay for it. This is a huge safety issue. I shouldn't have to worry about a door flying open when operating it.Jaguar/Range Rover seems not to care since my vin number was not part of the recall. Plus, the dealership said my windshield now leaks, (again a recall) but not my vin number. Can someone assist me with my car that is having serious safety issues?

The the top of the windshield leaks. The windshield has actually pulled away from the body of the car and needs to be completely resealed. This is a well known and recall problem for 2015 to 2018 Land Rover Evokes. My Evoke is a 2019 thus dose not fall under the recall, yet its the same issue. There are many other people with this complaint which can be seen with a quick Google search on this issue. My dealership has straight out told me that my year is not in the recall, although same problem, its not a recall item because my year is not included in the recall. I am asking that you expand the current recall for leaking windshields form 2015 to 2022 (i say 2022 because on line, there seems to be an on going issue until 2022. Not to mention, this issue drastically diminishes the safety integrity of the vehicle roll over safety / security / strength. Thanks you.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp illuminated with VCT diagnostic trouble codes stored in module; increased induction noise while driving; reduction in performance; and camshaft over speed. This was covered in N481 but has expired. I have owned my vehicle since June 2020 and was not notified of this Service Action Notice by my dealer or Range Rover. The last 6 numbers of my VIN falls within the range of vehicles affected by this notice; I.e., 255258-354248. This is a known safety hazard and it needs to be covered for the vehicle owners affected by this issue without expiration.

Three issues so far: 1) pulled over to close back door when warning light came on. Turned knob to put in park got out to secure back door. Vehicle began to back up., knocked me down and ran over my leg. Keep rolling until it was stop by a curb. 2) windshield started leaking after going through car wash. 3) both vanity covers on visors broke off 2 weeks apart. Plastic inferior “knobs” break without even using much. Never use passenger side and it broke 1st!

While driving on the interstate I released the cruise and slowed down when coming up on an 18 wheeler. When it was clear I began to change lanes to the left and tried to accelerate but the engine would not respond. About 5 or 6 seconds later it finally responded. This has happened about a dozen times at random. It has been in the dealers shop 6 times for this issue. The usually update the software and call it good but it keeps on happening. I had it in the shop this past January 2021 and a tech from Range Rover worked on it for about 1 1/2 weeks upgrading the software and said it was fixed. It happened 2 times since then so back to the shop I went. They returned the car on the 4th day stating they could not make the car shut down and there were no codes. I don’t know about you but it’s very stressful when you are driving in heavy traffic on Interstate 4 near Orlando and your car shuts done for a few seconds. I read on the internet where other people are having similar issue
