Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2010-2013 Range Rover Sport and 2010-2016 LR4 vehicles equipped with 3.0L V6 or 5.0L V8 engines. The fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank may crack, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.

The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover LR4. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V635000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer was contacted; however, the contact was informed that the recall had expired and was no longer available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure regarding the unrepaired recall.
Communication error with system. This controls all functions from braking to cameras to suspension and audio/phone. Research shows that this is a habitual issue on almost all Land Rover models with no fix except to replace entire infotainment center which parts only range from 3-6k. Something needed to be done. This is supposed to be a high end vehicle. There are so many blogs with the same issue with no fix

According to dealer, the connecting rod became dislodged and forced itself through the engine block rendering the entire engine and all related components (e.g. supercharger) inoperable and requiring replacement.

There is a active recall for the fuel leak. However, the dealer cannot accommodate a repair for two months. Iâm not sure what to do.

The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover LR4. The contact stated that while his wife was operating the vehicle, the gear selector would not shift out of Drive. Additionally, the vehicle could not be driven in Reverse. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the drive shaft assembly and the transmission control module were faulty and needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the driveshaft assembly was on back-order and currently unavailable. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

OUR 2014 LR4 LOST ALL POWER WHILE DRIVING ON A SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FREEWAY IN THE FAST LANE. SUDDENLY THE CAR STARTED SHUTTING DOWN WITH ZERO WARNING LIGHTS PRIOR TO THE ACCELERATION/POWER NOT WORKING. THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND WE HAD TO NAVIGATE OUR WAY TO THE SHOULDER THROUGH VERY FAST TRAFFIC WHILE OUR CAR CONTINUED TO SLOW DOWN. WE MADE IT TO THE SHOULDER JUST AS THE CAR COMPLETELY STOPPED RUNNING AND IT WOULDN'T START AGAIN. THIS INCIDENT WAS INCREDIBLY FRIGHTENING AND OUR ENTIRE FAMILY IS VERY LUCKY WE WERE NOT HIT AND/OR INJURED. THE CAR HAS UNDER 90,000 MILES. REPLACED THE ORIGINAL WATER PUMP AT 40,000 MILES. THE NEW WATER PUMP WENT OUT AT 89,000 MILES CAUSING THE ENGINE TO CEASE UP.

SINCE THE MILEAGE IS OVER 50,000 MILES, I WAS TOLD BY DEALERSHIP THERE IS NO WARRANTY LEFT FOR THE AIRBAGS.
