I was reversing my car in the parking lot and I heard a pop. Immediately I had a check electrical system warning. Preceding this the car was doing things which may have implied issues with the 12 V battery. Occasionally walking up to the car would not automatically open the car. Or other times, touching the driver handle did not unlock the car. The car is now at the dealership. They have confirmed failure of the HV fuse, ICCU failure, which also blew the 12 v battery. They have ordered the parts
Started my car while I was out and heard a pop sound. Warning message appeared saying "check electrical vehicle system". I was able to drive but when getting onto the freeway, I started to lose acceleration and go into limp mode. I pulled over on the freeway and had to get car towed to dealership. Dealership service center confirmed that my ICCU part failed. The vehicle to my knowledge hasn't been viewed by anyone other than the dealership.
I charged overnight at work. When leaving I heard a loud pop and the check EV system light came one. The vehicle would no longer drive over 40mph. I made it a mile and it dropped to 20mph. The dealership has had my car for over a week. From research it seems to be the ICCU as many others have had problems with.

I have experienced a ICCU failure at 7200 miles on my 2025 EV6 GT Line. This failure is a safety hazard as it will quickly disable the vehicle and strand the occupants wherever they be at the time of failure. (highway, back roads, day or night). There are warning lights when this occurs, but there is a very limited time to get to safety, depending on the state of charge of the onboard 12v battery. This issue has been ongoing since this vehicle came out in 2022. There have been a number of reca

11/28/25 on freeway car lost power and would only go 25mph and warning light came on. After short distance full power came back. 12/14/25 earliest appt with dealer and could not find problem. 01/09/26 Lost power and took car to dealer. Dealer said bad battery and they replaced battery. 1/20/25 lost power again and limped to dealer. Dealer found bad ICCU. They are now waiting for new ICCU to replace. When your driving 55 mps on freeway and suddenly drop to 25mph this is dangerous. The a
ICCU failure at 3889 miles not charging and 12v battery failure
Failure to charge properly on both alternating current and direct current platforms. Trips electrical breakers at residence while charging at home on AC current. The vehicle will only DC fast charge for a few minutes before charge session is prematurely terminated. I have been told by the KIA that it is a failure in the integrated charge control unit (ICCU). They told me there were 47 current problems right now in the state of Tennessee. I have not been issued a recall at this time. The logistic
Was driving around 45mph when I heard a pop noise, like an over pressurized soda bottle popped open. Moments later car abruptly dropped to under 35mph and reported errors and to check battery system. Brought it into dealer and they confirmed my ICCU failed and had to be replaced.
While driving on a busy road at night, my vehicle displayed battery warning lights and went into "limp mode" which slowed me down to 25 mph before stopping completely. I was then stranded until a tow truck could be dispatched. The Kia dealer told me that the issue was an ICCU (integrated charging control unit) which they have to order. I have since learned that this issue is known and is common.
Was driving home lost all power. Caution lights came on. The ICCU, relay switch, 2 fuses. went bad. It took 9 weeks for KIA to fix, no compensation.
