The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. While the contact’s wife was driving with the heated steering wheel activated, the driver attempted to adjust the steering wheel position, and suddenly an electrical short occurred, causing white smoke to come from the center of the steering wheel. The vehicle was immediately stopped, and the heated steering wheel and heated seats were deactivated. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 82,000.

around august of 2025 the gauge cluster went black and i can no longer see my total miles, gas gauge, and any warning lights that may appear on screen i.e. door ajar. because of this, i have almost gotten in car accidents because my gas runs out unknowingly. one time it put me in serious danger on the interstate having to add gas while cars were flying past me. there were no warning lights, check engine lights, or any other lights that would suggest failure. it just went black one day random day. we recently got into a car accident, this occurred after it had gone out and upon inspection the mechanic confirmed it was not associated with the accident and suggested looking into recall because jeep currently has recalls on gauge clusters, which is why i am reporting now. it is available for inspection upon request.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, several unknown warning lights flashed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, where various repairs were performed; however, the failure returned after each repair. The contact then stated that the entire instrument panel had gone blank; as a result, the speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer mileage, and other various features were unavailable. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle remained with the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

Instrument cluster panel - while driving, my cluster panel occasionally glitches before returning to normal. Ultimately, when I was on the highway, it all went black. Nothing is visible anymore. I can’t tell if I need gas, if my tires are low, if an oil change is due, or if there are any warnings I should be aware of. Essentially, all the information I require is missing. This occurred during the 3rd year I owned the car, but it only happened a handful of times. The belt-driven starter generator failed after just 3 years of having the brand new car. Fortunately, it was included in the powertrain warranty, so it was repaired. However, I recall experiencing the same problem, and everything in my car was malfunctioning, including the radio. At that moment, I believed that was the source of the issue because it hadn't happened for quite some time. After I resolved that issue, about a year later, my cluster began to malfunction again with the glitching. It would glitch for a short period

I am reporting a defect with the driver-side sun visor on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The sun visor mounting mechanism is faulty and has broken/detached during normal use. When this occurs, the visor drops down unexpectedly and obstructs the driver’s forward view. This creates a serious safety hazard, as the visor can suddenly block visibility while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash. The failure happened without excessive force or misuse, only routine flipping and positioning of the visor. I am aware that many other owners of 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited vehicles have experienced the same sun visor failure, suggesting a widespread defect in the design or materials used. This appears to be a known and recurring issue affecting multiple vehicles of the same model year. I believe this defect should be investigated as a safety-related issue and considered for a recall, as it directly impacts driver visibility and safe vehicle operation.

The instrument cluster has stop functioning and you can't see milage, gas or any of the warning lights within the cluster panel. I was not in an accident but wanted to report the problem of the cluster since my jeep was not included in the recall. I have an estimate of 1,600. for a repair from jeep mechanic.I feel that it should have been included in the recall.
