WHEN THE BATTERY CABLES ARE RECONNECTED, THE HORN, WIPERS AND WIPER FLUID SPRAYER ARE AGAIN ENGAGED. ON QUICK RESEARCH, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS A KNOWN TIPM FAILURE ISSUE THAT CAN ALSO EFFECT THE AIRBAG (PREVENTING DEPLOYMENT AS WELL AS RANDOMLY ENGAGING IT WHILE DRIVING), FUEL INJECTION CAUSING SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER AND VEHICLE CONTROL AS WELL AS ISSUES WITH LIGHTS AND GAUGES. ISSUES WERE SEVERE ENOUGH TO ISSUE A RECALL ON 2007 YEAR MODELS BUT SIMILAR ISSUES WITH THE 2008 ARE NOT ADDRESSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT CALLED A DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE RECALL REMEDY PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE, BUT DID NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED AND A TICKING NOISE COULD BE HEARD COMING FROM THE DASHBOARD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE GEAR CONNECTOR LINK FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT NOT BY THE DEALER. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.

WHILE COMING OFF THE HIGHWAY I NOTICED MY ENGINE MAKE A 'CLICKING' NOISE, DIDN'T SOUD TOO SERIOUS, BUT CHECKED OIL LEVEL AND SEEMED TO HAVE BEEN BARELY ANY OIL IN IT. IT WAS AROUND SCHEDULED OIL CHANGE DATE, HOWEVER TOOK TO A MECHANIC AND HE THOUGHT AND ASSUMED WAS THE IDLER PULLEY AND CHANGED IT. DROVE IT SAME NIGHT AND WAS STILL MAKING SAME NOISE. TOOK IT BACK AND HE JUST SPOKE WITH A 'CHRYSLER SERVICE PERSONNEL' AND STATED "CHRYSLER HAD A BAD ENGINE CASTING FOR MOLDING THE ENGINES AND AT HIGH TEMPERATURES THE ENGINE ITSELF WILL WARP." SO NOT SURE IF THIS IS TRUE, AND I DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE TO A DEALERSHIP AND CONFIRM.

CAN YOU PLEASE COMPEL THEM TO DELIVER THE PART TO A DEALER NEAR ME (IN GLENDALE CALIFORNIA) SO THAT I CAN RESOLVE THIS MATTER QUICKLY. MY FORMAL COMPLAINT TO THEM IS ATTACHED. I HAVE JUST START EXPERIENCING WHAT IS KNOWN AS DEATH WOBBLE, IN THE MIDDLE OF MY TRIP FROM COLORADO TO VIRGINIA AND THE JEEP HAS BEEN SHAKING VIOLENTLY AT RANDOM INTERVALS ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS KNOWN AS I SEEN OVER 200 COMPLAINTS ONLINE AND CHRYSLER REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND RECALL THESE JEEPS . I AM TAKING TO DEALER BUT I WON'T STOP UNTIL CHRYSLER REIMBURSES FOR THESE REPAIRS AND WANT OTHER PEOPLE INCLUDED THE GOVERNMENT TO LOOK INTO THIS. SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT THIS IS NOT RIGHT THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
