Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia, 2018-2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, 2019-2023 Fiat 500X, Jeep Renegade, and 2024 Fiat 500E vehicles. A seat belt buckle switch sensor may be improperly connected, preventing the front seat air bag from deploying as intended.
When driving we can be a football field distance away from any moving vehicle and then forward collision safety feature activates. This has happened several times and could have ended badly if someone was behind us in traffic.
I have had to have the battery replaced twice in under a year in my 2023. There are common complaints on social media.

Engine continuously leaks oil. Oil is all over under carriage. This has been a recurring problem that the dealer has tried to fix. Oil is all over our garage floor. If we do not monitor the oil level it could run out of oil. This vehicle is one year old and has had one recall and five attempts to fix an oil leak.
