I STARTED THE CAR AND NOTICED THE ENGINE WAS SURGING. I THOUGHT IF I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE, I COULD QUELL THE ENGINE. THE CAR BOLTED IN REVERSE OUT OF MY GARAGE, ACROSS THE BACK ALLEY, DOWN A DRAINAGE DITCH EMBANKMENT BEHIND BY HOUSE AND UP THE OTHER SIDE. I ENDED UP IN THE FIELD BEHIND MY HOUSE. I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE CAR AND TURN OFF THE IGNITION WHEN THE CAR SLOWED IN THE MUDDY FIELD. *NM

ON APRIL 4, 2005, MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING HER 1997 ISUZU RODEO ON INTERSTATE 24 IN MARION COUNTY, TENNESSEE WHEN LEFT REAR TIRE EXPERIENCED A TREAD SEPARATION, AND CAUSED VEHICLE TO ROLL OVER THREE TIMES. MIRACULOUSLY, SHE SURVIVED. I WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER OF THE TIRE, SO THAT OTHER MOTORISTS MAY BE APPRAISED OF THE SAFETY IMPLICATIONS. CONSUMER LOSS CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, HIT AN EMBANKMENT HEAD ON, FLIPPED OVER TWICE AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. *JB

I WAS IN ANA ACCIDENT ON SEPT. 4, 2002. I COULD NOT STOP IN TIME FOR THE WRECK THAT HAPPENED 1/4 MILE IN FRONT OF US SO I PROCEEDED TO SLAM INTO THE REAR-END OF THE TRUCK IN FRONT OF ME. CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 50MPH ON HIGHWAY AND A DEER JUMPED IN FRONT OF VEHICLE, CONSUMER WAS TRYING TO AVOID HITTING THE DEER , HE SWERVED AND LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE. DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DIDN'T DEPLOY. *AK

NON DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVER'S/PASSENGER'S AIR BAGS IN A COLLISION RESULTED IN INJURIES. ALSO, VEHICLE SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATION CAUSING A COLLISION .
WHILE MAKING A TURN BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE TRUCK SUDDENLY STARTED TO REV AND ACCELERATED, CAUSING THE DRIVER TO LOSE CONTROL AND FLIPPED OVER ON FLAT PAVEMENT. *AK
DUAL AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DURING FRONT END COLLISION, FRONT BUMPER GRILL HIT BY ANOTHER MOTORIST/WENT OVER DOUBLE YELLOW LINE, BOTH VEHICLES TRAVELING 25 MPH. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH THE VEHICLE HAD DIRECT FRONTAL IMPACT, AND BOTH DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY WHICH COULDNT PROTECT THE OCCUPANTS IN THE ACCIDENT. MANUFACTURER SAID THE VEHICLE DIDN'T EXPERIENCE ENOUGH FORCE TO DEPLOY THE AIRBAG, BUT HAD OVER $8000 WORTH OF DAMAGES. *AK

IN 3 INCIDENTS WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS ON A SLIGHT HILL AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS APPLIED, THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS WHILE NO ONE WAS IN THE VEHICLE, CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO HIT A TREE. DLR CANNOT DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. ALSO, HEARD SQEAKY NOISE WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES. *AK
