Isuzu Manufacturing Services of America (Isuzu) is recalling certain model year 2006-2008 Isuzu NPR and NPR-HD and Chevrolet W3500 and W4500 trucks manufactured March 16, 2005, to August 13, 2008 and 2006-2008 GMC W3500 and W4500 trucks manufactured July 18, 2005, to August 13, 2008. The affected v
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 ISUZU NPR HD. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT SUDDENLY ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. AFTER TURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND BACK ON, THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE FUEL TANK WAS REPLACED DUE TO RUST AND CORROSION. THE FAILURE RECURRED APPROXIMATELY 25,000 MILES LATER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V704000 (FUEL SYSTEM).
