Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2018-2023 International LT vehicles equipped with a 1500W Purkeys inverter system. The positive battery cable may be incorrectly routed, causing it to chafe on the side skirt frame and become damaged.

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 International HX, HV, LoneStar, LT, MV, RH, IC TC Commercial Bus, and 2022 International WorkStar vehicles. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly, which can cause the gear to fracture.

Steering intermittently goes into a shake/ shimmy at various speeds, frequently on curves. Steering wheel will shake and occasionally it gets intense enough for items in the cab of the truck to shake violently. Symptoms match NHTSA document IK0500038. 2 dealerships have been innefectual in addressing the issues. The problem started around 42,000 miles and persists currently at 71,000 miles.The truck has been back multiple times for this issue and is now up to 6 weeks of down time with no improve
