WHILE HAVING THE VEHICLE SERVICED AT A REPAIR SHOP, IT WAS BROUGHT TO THE CONTACT'S ATTENTION THAT THE OIL PAN HAD FRACTURED AND WAS LEAKING OIL ONTO THE ENGINE BLOCK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MECHANIC WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE THE HEAT EXCHANGER TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 08V258000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 260,000.
