Manually have to unlock the shifter to put into gear with a key and the steering wheel is at 90 degrees all the way to the right and won't move back to standard positioning while driving.

The contact owns a 2014 Infiniti Q50. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel felt loose and made an abnormal knocking sound while making a turn. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to manually move the steering column from underneath the steering wheel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who retrieved DTC: C1130 and C1138. The mechanic informed the contact that the failure could be related to the steering column, but a more detailed inspection of the steering system was needed to confirm the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 73,850.

Car is showing a p0720 code which is an issue with the valve body. The car will not go past 3rd gear. This is a known problem with this vehicle. Infiniti is not issuing a recall. The car won't run and the consumer is having to foot the bill for the repair when they know it's an issue with the vehicle and the transmission.
Driveshaft broke while driving down the road!!
The contact owns a 2014 Infiniti Q50. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the message "No Key Detected" was displayed. The contact waved the key fob around the START/STOP button, and the message ceased. The contact stated that the light around the START/STOP button was orange, but was green before the failure. One day, while driving the vehicle, the engine failed to shut off after shifting into park(P) and pressing the START/STOP button. The contact made several attempts to turn off the vehicle. The message to "Visit the Dealer" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics before finding a mechanic who was able to turn off the vehicle by removing the starter fuse. The mechanic advised the contact to tow the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer performed a water test and discovered that there was a leak in the sunroof, which had caused the failure. The mechanic discovered that water had leaked through the firewall in the body control module (BC

I received a check engine light will driving which is now indicated as code P0720 and P0500. The car refused to shift past 3rd gear and began to sputter and would not allow me to go past 25mph disrupting the flow of traffic.

Front and middle crossmember rusted out to the point they have no more structural effects issues discovered while fixing a know issue to these models : rusted out and leaking engine and transmission oils pans I had confirmation from the dealership and other independent repair shop that leaking oils pans are common for those models and can cause engine and transmission failure. For the crossmembers they are important structural components that directly affect suspension/direction and drivetrain secureness. If the plastic shrouds/cover are not taken off during inspection those issues will goes undetected until one of them reaches failure

The contact owns a 2014 Infiniti Q50. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the passengerâs side air bag off warning light remained illuminated constantly. The contact stated that the warning light was also present while a passenger was seated in the seat. The contact used a diagnostic scanner to identify an abnormal voltage to the passengerâs side air bag sensor. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V244000 (AIR BAGS). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 36,000.

I was stopped at a stop sign and pulled out into an intersection and lost power.
The transmission Valve Assembly Control Module and Vehicle Speed Sensors have both failed. The car will not shift out of 2nd gear and cannot go faster than 40 mph. This is a safety issue. I had my car inspected by a certified mechanic and he diagnosed the problem. He also stated that that he has seen this a lot with Infinitis. I have maintained my car well but this is Not a maintenance issue. There are thousands of infiniti owners online stating that they had the exact same problem. I filed a case with Infiniti #52260861. This is a design flaw with All Infiniti cars and SUV's and it should be a Recall or at a minimum fixed for free by Infiniti. It cost me $3,500 to have my car fixed and this should be paid by Infiniti to me and all other Infiniti owners with this same problem.
