ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE CIRCUIT BOARD FOR THE CRANK POSITION SENSOR OR CAM POSITION SENSOR MAY HAVE AN IMPROPER SOLDER JOINT DUE TO SOLDER DEFORMATION CAUSED BY HEAT STRESS ACCELERATED BY THE EXISTENCE OF FLUX RESIDUE DURING THE SOLDERING PROCESS.

MY "2002" INFINITI AUTOMOBILE MODEL Q45 WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER AUTO WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH AN INTERSTATE CONSTRUCTION ZONE. MY CAR WAS MOVING AT THE TIME AND I WAS DRIVING. THE FORCE OF THE COLLISION BROKE EITHER MY SEAT BACK OR ITS ELECTRIC OPERATING ASSEMBLY TO THE EXTENT THAT THE SEAT BACK COLLAPSED REARWARD AND AS A RESULT I WAS BARELY ABLE TO REACH THE BRAKE PEDAL IN ORDER TO BRING THE CAR UNDER CONTROL AND STOP. THIS COULD HAVE MADE WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE MAJOR ACCIDENT A CATASTROPHIC O
