THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER DAUGHTER WAS IN LINE AT A DRIVE THRU, A SMELL EMITTED THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. AS THE BURNING SMELL PROGRESSED, SHE ALSO SAW WHITE SMOKE COMING FROM THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE. A FEW SECONDS LATER WE HAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF SMOKE AND THE CAR JUST CUTS OFF AT 55 MPH AND WE HAD MANEUVER IT OFF THE ROAD AND WE HAD TO GET OUT CHOKING ON THE SMOKE AND LATER FOUND OUT FROM THE NSSAN DEALER THAT THE ECM WAS ON FIRE BETWEEN MY RIGHT LEG IN THE CAR AND MY SONS LEFT LEG.
