THIS CAR HAS 55,000 MILES AND IS WELL MAINTAINED. COMMUTING TO WORK THE STEERING PARTIALLY SEIZED AT AN INTERSECTION NEGOTIATING A RIGHT TURN. THE STEERING GROWLS AT LOW ENGINE SPEED AND IS VERY DIFFICULT TO STEER. THE REPAIR SHOP CALLED THE INFINITI DEALER FOR A POWER STEERING PUMP. NO NEW OR RECONDITIONED PUMPS ARE AVAILABLE AND 30 PUMPS ARE ON BACK ORDER. MAJOR AFTERMARKET PART SUPPLIERS ARE ALSO OUT OF STOCK. THIS LOOKS LIKE A MAJOR FAILURE. THERE IS NO RECALL ON THIS ISSUE.
