Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2024 Elantra, Venue, and Kona vehicles. An electrical short circuit may occur in the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve assembly, which can result in a loss of drive power.

The soy-based coating on the harness surrounding critical wiring attracts squirrels who are keen to the scent resulting in wiring critical to the operation of the vehicle being chewed and malfunctioning. Since buying this vehicle on [XXX] my horn has become completely inoperative a total of three times. I live in Georgia and a working horn is required per GA Code § 40-8-70 (2024) "Every motor vehicle when operated upon a highway shall be equipped with a horn in good working order and capable of emitting sound audible under normal conditions from a distance of not less than 200 feet..".
