The contact stated that while accelerating at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated, the contact then stated that he depressed the brake pedal however, the vehicle failed to stop. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a tree. The contact sustained an injury to the head that required medical attention at the ER. At the time of the crash, the contacts two children were in the vehicle. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the contactâs residence by the contactâs tractor. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but the contact had not received a response. The contact owns a 2020 Honda Motorcycle SXS1000 (PIONEER 1000). The contact stated that while crossing a creek at 5 MPH, he hit a hole which caused the motorcycle to roll over into the creek. Upon landing in the water, the contact attempted to exit the motorcycle but the seatbelt would not detach. As the contact struggled to release himself, his girlfriend who was also on the motorcycle, made three separate attempts to release the seat belt and was finally successful on the third attempt. As his girlfriend was able to pull him from out of the water, the contact was blue and unresponsive after being underwater for nearly 5 minutes. The contact's girlfriend was able to perform CPR on the contact and he was able to regain consciousness. EMS arrived on the scene and checked his vitals; the contact refused to be taken to the local hospital and was taken home by a sheriff. Later that night, the contact's girlfriend had taken him to his local hospital where they discovered that his vitals w

****NOTE - THIS IS AN ATV, NOT A HIGHWAY VEHICLE.**** TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2020 HONDA MOTORCYCLE PIONEER 1000. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MOTORCYCLE STATED THAT THE SEATS WERE OVERHEATING TO THE POINT OF CAUSING BURNS TO THE SKIN. XTREME POWERSPORTS (1019 US-301, TAMPA, FL 33619, (813) 626-6060) WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS A KNOW ISSUE AND THAT THE SEATS NEEDED TO BE PROPERLY INSULATED. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT YET REPAIRED.
