On Friday 2/18/2022 I was pulling into a parking space with my 2010 Honda Ridgeline. When applying the brake, the vehicle suddenly accelerated unintentionally and hit the car in the opposing parking space. I stood on the brake harder when I sensed the vehicle lurching forward. I BACKED MY 2010 HONDA RIDGELINE OUT OF MY GARAGE. IT WAS A LITTLE TOO CLOSE TO MY BASKETBALL HOOP SO I PUT IT IN DRIVE TO PULL FORWARD. THE TRUCK TOOK OFF LIKE A JET AND ACCELERATED ABOUT 20 FEET FORWARD UNTIL IT CRASHED INTO MY GARAGE. I IMMEDIATELY LOOKED DOWN AND MY FOOT WAS FIRMLY ON THE BRAKE AND THE BRAKE WAS COMPLETELY PRESSED TO THE FLOOR. THE TRUCK ACCELERATED BY ITSELF. I AM THANKFUL NOBODY GOT HURT.
